WHY DID A BAR/CANDLE DISAPPEAR FROM MY CHART? HOW TO UPDATE CHART?

This usually happens when you lose your internet connection. When this happens, you should try refreshing the chart by right-clicking on the chart and selecting "Refresh." This should load the missing data.

If the missing bars still do not show up on the chart:

Close MetaTrader.
Find the "History" folder in the MetaTrader program folder (C:\Program Files\Alpari Limited MT4\history\).
Go to the folder corresponding to your server name
In the folder, delete any files which include the name of the instrument for which you are missing information (where the bar is missing).
Relaunch MetaTrader 4.
